I've specialized in photographing newborns for more than 15 years and work with approximately 100 newborns each year. I'm also proud to be the first photographer in Indiana and Illinois certified in Newborn Safety through AANPS. Every session is approached with your baby's comfort and safety as the priority.
And beyond all the training and experience, I'm a mom of four. There's something to be said for all those years of holding, soothing, swaddling, and loving babies. Right, mommas?

When my clients comment on my work, they often call me a 'baby whisperer', and mention how patient and knowledgeable I am with handling their newborns. I have such a love for newborns and babies and I believe it really shows in my work.
I have four children and four grandchildren. My youngest two are homeschooled (ages 10 & 14), so being a teacher is my main job.
I started photography as a way to work close to home, create my own schedule, and raise my babies. I always loved taking pictures, I just didn't know how much until I really applied myself.
My very first paid session in 2010 was a newborn, and I knew right then that I had a knack for this, and I never wanted to do anything else.

Newborn sessions take place in baby's first 18 days earth-side.
I prefer to schedule them on days 10-12. (Past the cluster feeding and before the baby acne!).
